Our Love Letter to Midland & Odessa

The season of love is here, and The Sales Team Realtors are excited to shed a little light on the place we love most—our community! There’s no place like home, and we couldn’t agree more. So, here are a few of our favorite places around the community that make the Permian Basin feel like “home.”

 

1.  Red Plate Diner in Midland, Texas

This diner is a favorite for locals and a staple in the Sales family. Brian and Laura have planned everything from personal goals to business endeavors at this diner. As dedicated patrons of over 15 years, there’s no place like Red Plate if you’re looking for classic diner food and an expansive ice cream menu.

 

 

2. Hotel Settles in Big Spring, Texas

If you’re looking for a fun overnight experience, we recommend Hotel Settles. Not too far from the Midland/Odessa area, this 1930s-era hotel features the style and luxury of that era—while boasting modern amenities such as a rooftop pool, a world-class spa, and a delectable restaurant. Brian brought Laura here to celebrate their anniversary, and it was certainly one to remember.

 

 

3.  Luigi’s Italian Restaurant in Midland, Texas

This wouldn’t be a local love list if it didn’t include our favorite pasta joint! Luigi’s menu boasts authentic Italian favorites such as pizza and pasta, but make sure you give the dessert a try, too! Brian and Laura visited this local staple on their first date and sometimes like to recreate the evening whenever they visit.

 

 

4. Our Backyard Oasis

Sometimes the best local hangout spot is in your own backyard—literally! Brian and Laura have put a lot of time and effort into their yard, and they love hosting family barbeques and game nights in the summer.
