Teela Sierra Mercado was inspired to become a REALTOR® after her own journey of buying a home — a process that required patience, persistence, and seeing countless houses before finding the right one. That experience showed her the importance of having someone supportive and knowledgeable by your side, and it sparked her passion for guiding others through their own home search.
Originally from a small town in New Mexico, Teela and her family moved to Midland 11 years ago. What started as a leap of faith quickly became a blessing, as the warm and welcoming community made it easy to feel at home. Now, she loves helping others put down roots in the Permian Basin.
With 16 years of experience in healthcare, Teela brings the same qualities she honed in that field to real estate — staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and putting people first in life-changing moments. She listens carefully, builds strong relationships, and ensures her clients feel confident every step of the way.
Outside of real estate, Teela is a full-time wife and mom who enjoys staying busy with DIY projects and keeping up with the latest home design trends. She loves bringing fresh ideas into her own space and helping her clients imagine the potential in the homes they tour.
